Pekiti Tirsia Kali

Pekiti Tirsia Kali is a martial art and self-defence system from the Philippines. It had been developed and passed on by the family of our grandmaster (Grandtuhon) Leo T. Gaje. Pekiti Tirsia Kali - short PTK - teaches the students to solve conflict situations. Evasion and escape, negotiating and creative problem solving are just as important as physical confrontation.

Overview

15. July - 19. July 2017: Uli Weidle in Reutlingen, Germany at Kampfkunstzentrum (Martial Arts Center).

Pekiti Tirsia Introduction: functional foundation of knife, stick, sword and empty hands

Topic

The weekend seminars and workshops of this training course offer a sound and thorough introduction to Pekiti Tirsia foundation level training methods, drills and techniques.

The seminar series covers single and double stick, sword, knife, espada y daga, open hand, elbow techniques, kicks, dumog plus other methods taught in the foundation level of Pekiti Tirsia. The course is structured according to the Pekiti Tirsia Europe training guideline.

Proper training of the materials presented in these seminars prepares for foundation level examination, which opens the door for joining our instructor program with it's free of charge To Teach & To Fight workshops for instructor candidates and instructors.

In year 2017 we offer for each of the weekend seminars the opportunity to deepen the seminar experience with a multi day practical training workshop. The weekend seminars focus on proper transfer of knowledge and detailed explanation of training methods, thus allowing somebody to continue the training in a self-managed way. The additional training workshops offer the opportunity to practically train the material from the weekend seminars in a small group setting under the watchful eye of an experienced instructor.
